Advertisement for the temporary posts in the DBT sponsored
Translational Research Platform for Veterinary Biologicals- Phase III
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following temporary posts in the DBT funded scheme on Translational Research Platform for Veterinary Biologicals- Phase III. Applications should be submitted in the prescribed format along with the supporting documents by post to “The Project Director, Translational Research
Platform for Veterinary Biologicals, 2nd Floor, Central University Laboratory Building, TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai- 600 051”.
The cut-off date for the receipt of applications is 17.03.2022.
Separate applications should be made for each of the posts. Each application should be clearly titled as ‘Application for the post of __’. The shortlisted candidates alone will be called for written examination followed by an interview. The positions are purely temporary
and are co-terminus with the project.
Project Associate : Two Posts
Essential Qualifications:-
Master degree in Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ / Genetic Engineering/
Microbiology / Nanotechnology and related disciplines
Upper age limit: 35 years
Rs. 35,000/- + HRA @ 24% (as applicable) p. m for each
candidate with Two years of research experience in relevant fields
Rs. 31,000/- + HRA @ 24% (as applicable) p. m for each candidate who
do not have Two years of research experience.
Senior Research Fellow : Three Posts
I. Postgraduate degree in Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Genetic Engineering/
Microbiology/ Nanotechnology and related disciplines selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including
lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
II. Two years of research experience
Rs.35,000/- + HRA @ 24% (as applicable) p. m for each candidate
Rs.31,000/- + HRA @ 24% (as applicable) p. m for each candidate
