Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) Recruitment 2022

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu, is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Metro Rail Project in the city of Chennai.
CMRL invites applications from qualified and experienced personnel for the appointment of following positions on contract basis :-

Deputy General Manager (Quality) -01

Deputy General Manager (Safety) -01

Assistant Manager (Environment) -01

(i) Age, qualification & experience stipulated for above posts should be as on 22-06-2022 Age will be relaxed for deserving and experienced candidates.
(ii) Higher remuneration / Higher post shall be considered based on the past experience,
performance in the interview, higher qualification, exceptional credentials and expertise in
the relevant field.
(iii) Apart from the consolidated pay, benefits like Medical & Personal Accident Insurance, Life Insurance, Mobile Phone reimbursement, Sim Card for official use and other allowances as admissible as per the extant rules of CMRL HR policy shall be paid

Post Code No. 01 – Deputy General Manager (Quality) – (01 Post):-
Must possess B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil engineering from a Govt. recognized University /
Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC. The candidate should have minimum 13 years of experience
post engineering degree or 11 years of experience post diploma and 7 years of experience post
engineering degree in the respective area of work as mentioned below:-
i. Execution of pile foundations & pile caps, pier & pier caps, launching of concrete
members and installation of bearings.
ii. Experience in Pre-Stressing of structural members.
iii. Experience in Fabrication and Erection of Composite Girders.

iv. Conducting and witnessing of tests on; Major Construction Materials, Pile Load Tests,
Span Load Tests and tests on Elastomeric Bearings and POT/PTFE Bearings.
v. Should be well-versed with relevant Indian and International codes and Specifications.
vi. Conversant with Preparation and Evaluation of Method Statements, Mix Designs and
Quality Assurance Plans.
vii. Conversant with Evaluation of Test Reports including NDT Reports as per codal
provisions

Salary Rs.90000/-

Post Code No. 02 – Deputy General Manager (Safety) – (01 Post):-
Must possess B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil / Mechanical engineering from a Govt. recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC along with Diploma in Industrial Safety or
Certificate in OSHA / NEBOSH / Safety Management by IOSH. The candidate should have
minimum 13 years of experience post engineering degree or 11 years of experience post diploma and 7 years of experience post engineering degree. Out of overall years of experience, the candidate
should have minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) in major infrastructure works e.g. Metro /Railways/ Airports/ Highways/ Large Industrial or commercial or residential building projects.

Salary Rs.90000/-

Post Code No. 03 – Assistant Manager (Environment) (01 Post):-
Must be a M.E / M.Tech (Environment) graduate from a recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC.
Should have 2 years of post-qualification executive experience and proven track record including preparation of EIA work/report for various construction projects.
Should monitor and comply with the statutory requirements of CPCB & TNPCB and liase for approval and clearences to be obtained with the respective boards.

Salary Rs.60000/-

Selection process:
The selection methodology comprises two-stage process, interview followed by medical examination.
The selection process will judge the candidate on different facets like knowledge, skills,
comprehension, attitude, aptitude and physical fitness.

Unreserved & candidates falling under other catagory are required to pay a Non-refundable
fee of Rs.300/- and SC/ST are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.50/- (for
processing & postage charge)

c. Name of the “Post applied for” should be superscribed on the envelope containing the

d. Candidates who fulfill the above requirement should submit duly filled application form as per attached format in hardcopy along with prescribed application fee (DD/NEFT)
supported by Bio-Data and one set of self-attested copies of educational qualification
certificate, experience certificate, birth certificate, community certificate and latest passport size photo through proper channel to the following address on or before 16.07.2022.
