EX-SERVICEMEN CONTRIBUTORY HEALTH SCHEME (ECHS) POLYCLINICS
UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF STATION HEADQUARTERS TIRUCHIRAPALLI

ECHS invites applications for the following appointments from Ex-Servicemen and
Civilians to be employed as contractual employees on various appointments tenable at the
following Polyclinics, under the jurisdiction of Station Headquarters, Tiruchirapalli for the
vacancies arising upto Jun 2023. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview through
Mobile/SMS/Email. Employment period for Ex-Servicemen would be 12 months and for
Civilians it will be 11 months only

The details of appointments alongwith terms and conditions including eligibility criteria are
as follows :-

Persons applying for first time in ECHS est are eligible if they have minimum two years
(24 months) balance to serve from maximum age criteria as covered at age column of above.
This will be calculated from 1st of next month in which advertisement of vacancy has been
advertised. Minimum one year (12 months) will be needed for eligibility for persons for applying if they have been employed with ECHS establishments at any stage for minimum 12 months or
more provided there is nothing adverse against them at any stage. Calculation criteria for 12 months will remain the same as per new applicants.
** All those including contractual employees who have worked in an ECHS establishment, will have clear gap of one year between the last ECHS appointment held and when the appointment is taken in any empanelled Hospitals. The clause of cooling off period will not be applicable for individuals employed in ECHS establishment and applying for employment in ECHS Polyclinics.
*** Those who have worked in any Empanelled Hospital will also have clear gap of one year from the date when appointment is relinquished in an Empanelled Hospital and the date when they join any ECHS establishment

General Instructions :-
(a) Individual application for each post as per format available on www.echs.gov.in
(duly affixed with Passport size photo) should be submitted with all supporting documents
must reach Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Garuda Lines, Cantonment, Tiruchirapalli – 01 on
or before 30 Jul 2022. Photocopy of filled application/ incomplete application in any form
will be rejected. Separate application is required to be sumitted for each Polyclinic in case
more than one Polyclinic is being opted.

List of Supporting Documents
(i) Pension Payment Order (PPO)
(ii) Discharge Book
(iii) Ex-Servicemen Identity Card
(iv) Aaadhar Card & PAN Card
(v) Educational certificate/Mark Sheet of 10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation & PG
(vi) Registration certificate (For Medical and Para Medical Candidate Only)
(vii) Computers course certificate if any
(viii) Experience Certificate
(ix) MEDICAL FITNESS CERT DULY SIGNED BY:-
(aa) For ESM : Medical officer of dependent Polyclinic and countersigned
by OIC ECHS Polyclinic.
(ab) For Civilian candidates: Chief Medical Officer of Govt Hospital only

(b) Candidates earlier employed in ECHS but whose services were terminated or who
had resigned or are blacklisted need not apply. These applications will be rejected.
(c) Only those candidates meeting eligibility criteria and completed application form
shortlisted by the Board of Officers will be considered for interview. Computer Qualified
Candidates will be given preference over Non computer qualified candidates. Interviews
will be held from 08 Aug 2022 to 13 Aug 2022. The eligible candidate will be informed
the date and time of the interview through email/tele call and list will also be displayed on
the Notice Board. No separate interview call letter will be sent.
(d) Written test/ Practical exams will be conducted to candidates at the time of
interview except Chowkidar, Safaiwala and Female Attendant.
(e) Candidates will bring all original documents as applicable at the time of interview.
No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
(f) Employment of all individuals will be at the discretion of the appointing auth.
Change in terms and condition of employment arising out of unforeseen circumstances at
any stage of employment, without any prejudice would be without compensation at the
discretion of the appointing auth.
(g) Changes to this NOTICE if any, will be posted on ECHS web site only.
(h) Anybody found using unfair means or creating a ruckus at the time of the interview
will be severely dealt with as per Code of Criminal Procedure Act 1973 on the subject.
