Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the vacancies in District
Health Society-NTEP – Chennai’ purely on contractual basis for a period of 11 months.
The details of the posts, qualification, vacancies, communal rotation and remuneration per
month is given below:
Medical Officer– (DTC)-03 (GT-2,BC-1)
MBBS from Institution recognized by Medical council ofIndia.
Should be registered in the National Medical Commission.
Salary Rs.60,000
Medical Officer –(Medical College)-(MBC-1)
MBBS from Institution recognized by Medical council of India.
Should be registered in the National Medical Commission.
Salary Rs.60000/-
Senior Medical Officer – (DR TB Centre)-(BC-1)
MBBS from Institution recognized by Medical council of India.
Should be registered in the National Medical Commission
Salary Rs.60000/-
District PPM Coordinator-(MBC-1)
MSW/ M. Sc Psychology- Post Graduate.
One year experience of working in field of Communication/ ACSM/
Public – Private Partnership/ Health projects/ Programs
Permanent two wheeler driving license.

Statistical Assistant Cum DEO- (Nodal DRTB Centre)-(SCA-1)
Graduate in statistics with Diploma in computer application or
equivalent recognized by the Council for Technical education
Typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English and Tamil.
Should be conversant with MS Word, Excel and statistical
packages.

Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS)- (GT-2) (SC-1) (MBC-1)
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Recognized sanitary inspector’s
course.
Certificate course in MS Office.
Permanent two wheeler driving License.
Salary Rs.19800
Data Entry operator (DEO)-(MBC-1)
(10+2) with Diploma in computer application or equivalent recognized
by the council for Technical education.
Typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English and Tamil.
Should be well conversant with various computer programme
including MS Word, Excel and simple statistical packages..
Salary Rs.13500/-
Lab Technician (LT)-52 (GT-11, BC-15, MBC-14, BC(M)-3, SC-8, SCA-1)
Twelfth (10+2) and 2 Years Diploma course in Medical Laboratory
Technology Recognized by DME.

TB Health Visitor (TB HV) -08 (GT-2, BC-1, BC(M)-1, MBC1, ST-1, SC-2)
Graduate in science or Twelfth (10+2) in science and two year course in MPHW/ LHV/ ANM/ Health worker. or
Tuberculosis health visitors recognized course
Certificate course in MS Office
Salary Rs.13300/-
Counselor (DRTB Centre) -(MBC-1, BC-1)
Graduate Degree in Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology
Basic Knowledge of Computer

The application should be submitted in the format in the annexure. Only those residing in
Chennai are eligible to apply.
The duly filled in application with relevant self attested copies of the certificate should
reach the office of “The Programme Officer, District TB Centre, No.26, Puliyanthope High
Road, Puliyanthope, Chennai- 600 012”, by post or in person on or before 23.01.2023 till 5 pm.
Applications received beyond the last date and time will not be entertained.
The application will be short listed based on essential educational qualification and the
documents submitted. The eligible candidates will be called for an interview. The dates of the interview will be communicated by post later. The post will be filled by following the communal
roster. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
