About Institute:
Vaikunth Mehta national lnstitute of co-operative Management (VAMNICOM) is located in Pune’ a historic city, which is the cultural capital of the state of Maharashtra and educational centre of india VAMNICOM is conceived as an intellectual nerve centre for the co-operative Movement VAMNICOM is a National lnstitute under the aegis of National council for cooperative Training (NCCT), promoted by Ministry of cooperation, Government of lndia.
Training and Collaboration:
VAMNICOM associates with various international agencies/organisations like the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA), International Labour Organisation (ILO), Food & Agricultural Organisation (FAO), Asian & Pacific Agricultural Credit Association (APRACA) etc. The Institute conducts exchange programmes in collaboration with the Department of International, Technical & Economic Co-operation (ITEC), and Ministry of External Affairs. It offers training programmes for senior executives from co-operatives in developing countries. Also, it conducts collaborative programmes with National Institute for Co-operative Development (NICD), Sri Lanka, Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU), Bangkok, Thailand, and The Cooperative College of Malaysia, Malaysia. The Institute has also been an active promoter in the establishment of the Centre for International Co-operation and Training in Agricultural Banking (CICTAB) which is engaged in organising training programmes in the field of Agricultural/Rural Banking to professional from SAARC countries.
The Institute organizes international, National and local level training and academic programmes on various areas of agriculture, agri – business and cooperative management. The Institute conducts two long duration programmes viz. (a)Diploma in Cooperative Business Management (DCBM) programme for in – service officers working in cooperatives and (b)Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Agri- Business Management (PGDM- ABM) which is equivalent to MBA degree for fresh graduates.
Recognition and Accreditation:
The PGBM – ABM Course has been recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India and recognised by Association of Indian Universities as equivalent of MBA degree. The Course has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The SavitribaiPhule Pune University, Pune has recognized VAMNICOM for undertaking research work leading to the award of Ph. D. degree in Management, in general, and Cooperative Management, in particular.

Educational Qualification,Essential Experience and Desirable for Required Faculty Positions:-

Holding analogous post OR c. 5 years’ experience in the regular service in posts in the level of Associate Professor (for retired faculty only). 5.Age : Not exceeding 56 years. 6. Remuneration : Consolidated Pay of Rs. 1,23,100/- per month. 7. For Retired Person : a. The maximum age limit for retired persons will be 65 years. b. The candidate may be retired person from the Central Government/ State Government/ Public sector etc. in Pay Matrix Level – 13 & above of 7″ CPC or equivalent pay scale. c. The per month remuneration of retired persons will be fixed as per government norms, arriving at by the deducting Basic Pension {Gross) from the last Basic Pay drawn at the time of retirement. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract. |

Minimum 10 years teaching/training/Research/Extension/ Consultancy experience recognized University/Institute/ Cooperative Training Organization/Cooperative Institute/Cooperative Department/Govt./Semi Govt. organisations/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies. b. 5 years’ experience in the regular service in posts in the level of Assistant Professor (for retired faculty only) 4. Age : A) Not exceeding 50 years. B) For Retired Person : a. The maximum age limit for retired persons will be 65 years. But engaged beyond 65 years and upto 70 years may be resorted to in deserving cases. Keeping in view his/ her good health and level of expertise. b. The candidate may be retired person from the Central Government/ State Government/ Public sector etc. in Pay Matrix Level – 12 & above of 7″ CPC or equivalent pay scale. c. The per month remuneration of retired persons will be fixed as per government norms, arriving at by the deducting Basic Pension (Gross) from the last Basic Pay drawn at the time of retirement. The Institute reserves the right to increase or reduce the above stated faculty positions and relaxation in experience for meritorious candidates and also to cancel the process of recruitment without assigning any reason.
No correspondence will be entertained with the candidates, who are not called for interview/selected for appointment.
Period of contract : The existing contract would be renewed based on satisfactory performance for the next term of 11 months till the said posts would be filled up through regular appointment by the NCCT.
