Chennai600 007. - Applicant should have completed B.V.Sc/ B.V.Sc & AH from
a recognized University/ Institute. - Must be an Indian National
- Must have a valid registration Certificate from Tamil Nadu
State Veterinary Council / VCI. - Candidates with Experience will be given preference.
- Applicant are instructed to appear for the interview with
original certificates. - Candidates already working in Institute/ Hospital should
produce No Objection Certificate. - Salary Rs. 40,000 per month
WALK – IN – INTERVIEW
A walk-in-interview would be conducted for the following one post under the DBT-PACEBIRAC funded project on “Development and Evaluation of a combined vaccine for Classical
Swine Fever, Porcine Circovirus 2 and Brucella suis infections to augment productivity in
Swine” at Vaccine Research Centre-Bacterial Vaccine, Centre for Animal Health Studies,
TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai-600 051.
Project Associate- 1 No. Upper age limit: 35
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 25000/- +HRA@ 24% (as applicable) p. m
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ M.V.Sc
or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized
University or equivalent
Desirable qualifications:
The project work involves propagation of viruses and cultivation of bacteria. Hence,
candidates having Master’s degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology/ Genetic
Engineering and other related Life science disciplines or M.V.Sc in Veterinary
Microbiology/Animal Biotechnology from a recognized University or equivalent is
preferred.
Preference will be given for candidates having experience in Cell culture techniques,
bacterial culture, vaccine formulations, basic and molecular virology work and
Microbiology.
The posts are purely temporary for 2 years and co-terminus with the project.

Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai-600 051 for a written test for one hour duration followed by
interview for only short-listed candidates on 31.07.24 at 9.30 am with original certificates in
support of age, qualifications, photo ID card, experience certificate and proofs for any other
credentials. Working personnel are requested to attend the interview with No Objection letter
from the present employer. No TA and DA will be provided for attending the interview.
